Biggest Pride in Reykjavik's History

The Reykjavik Gay Pride last August 6 - 7 was the biggest one in Reykjavik's Pride history. More than 40 thousand people attended the parade and open air concert down town. This is a new record, the old record being 35 thousand people in 2002. The Pride opened on Friday night August 6th with a show and concert in Loftkastalinn theater, followed by a Pride Party and seperate girl's and boy's dances in down town clubs. The opening sold out. Next years Pride will be August 5 - 7 2005.
