A Grand Opening

The Reykjavik Gay Pride Opening ceremony is next Thursday at Haskolabio Movie Theater, at 8 p.m. . The door opens at 7 p.m. If you want to have a float or a number in the parade on Saturday please contact the parade manager.
Everybody can participate in the parade free of charge. If you are just going to stroll with the crowd the only thing you have to do is to be at Hlemmur Bus Terminal well before 2 p.m., when the parade starts. If you have a float however, you have to apply by filling out an Parade application form.
We urge all participants to bring some color to the parade. It can be your national flag or some other colorful simbols and dresses. Please feel free to look foolish.
All tickets for events, official T-shirts and other ornaments are for sale at the Pride Center on main shopping street. The address is: Laugavegur 28. The Center is open from 12 noon until 6 p.m.
Ticket price for the Opening Ceremony is 1.800 ISK. Bearburst after the show in the theater lobby.
