This year Reykjavik Gay Pride offers a special Gay Pride Club at Q-bar for the first time. The club opens at noon on the first day of pride, Thursday 9th of August. VIP pass holders get special discounts.
The Pride club offers entertainment through out the pride-weekend. On the day of the parade the club opens 10 a.m. for warm up. That night the famous American DJ Aaron Carl will kepp people danceing through the night and into the next morning.
Aaron, who is gay, was born in Detroit U.S. and has been making music since young age. His debut was the publishing of two albumbs simultaneously in 1996, "Crucified" , a deep house music collection and "Down", his most successful album until now. Aaron is known for songs such as "Sky", "My House", No No", and "21 Positions".
In Detroit Aaron and DJ Trench host the so called Jackit Required underground parties. This will not be his first visit to Iceland, because Aaron DJ'ed at Club Thomsen some years ago and made evrybody dance-crazy. He has also DJ'ed at Paris Pride, so he knows the pride spirit.
